Delta Studies.

Trips to Delta, BC for the Burns Bog project and in traveling through the area on highway 99 between Vancouver and the Canadian Border, incited an interest in the area. Former farmland in the Vancouver area is being crowded by suburban development which provides for some interesting intersections. As well, the organization of farmland points out rather obviously the human desire to organize 'natural' space to his own specifications, which is something I find quite interesting. The last three images come from an image that often pops into my mind... some sort of personal interpretation of Turner's Rain, Steam and Speed. I felt it remained applicable here.
